Another busy week on the farm. I got 10 Tamworth pigs which will make up half of our summer forested pork. The layer chicks finally arrived and are now in the brooder. I finished converting the boat trailer into a wagon chasis that we'll use for the new mobile chicken coup (egg mobile). Finally, we were invited to the NTA conference here in Vancouver by Slow Food. Thanks Slow Food for making that possible. At the conference we got to hear a bunch of great speakers, among whom was Joel Salatin. Who we got to meet! It was a very exciting week.
